The 4th China High-Quality Consumption Exhibition and Hengqin Global Bay Areas Forum (HQCE) opened on September 5 at The Venetian Macao’s Cotai Expo, alongside the China International Cross-Border E-Commerce Exhibition. The three-day event gathers government officials, business leaders, and enterprises to explore new opportunities for quality consumption and cross-border cooperation between Macao and Hengqin.
Nine cooperation agreements were signed at the opening, spanning logistics, healthcare, and specialty agricultural products. Notable deals include Nam Kwong Group’s partnership with Shanghai YTO Dragon Investment to expand logistics networks linking Hengqin and Macao with global markets, and initiatives bringing regional specialty goods from Heilongjiang, Gansu, and other provinces to international consumers via Macao.
Officials highlighted that HQCE unlocks consumption potential and strengthens Macao–Hengqin integration. Additional activities include new product launches, business matchmaking sessions, and youth-focused events such as an anime carnival.
Co-hosted by Nam Kwong Group, the Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce, and the Guangdong Department of Commerce, HQCE has become a key platform to promote industrial cooperation, quality consumption, and diversified economic growth in the Greater Bay Area.
